Rosa May Rieman, 94, of Grangeville, Idaho, died on Feb. 25, 2014.
Rosa May was born to Joseph M. And Sadie Hill on Aug. 11, 1919. She grew up in the Ferdinand area and attended Oliver School.
She married Leo Rieman on June 1, 1939, and moved to the Reubens area where he was the superintendent of the school and she was a telephone operator. Later they moved to Worley, Idaho, where they stayed until Leo retired and moved back to their ranch in Ferdinand. After Leo’s death she moved to Grangeville where she was closer to her family.
She enjoyed traveling and her family.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Lloyd and Joe Hill; her sister, Emma Zodrow; her brother-in-law, Clarence Rieman; her nephew, Monty Hill; her niece, Vada Fleming; and a great-niece, Amy Hill.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Leona and Lenore Hill; a niece, Bonnie Hill; her nephews, Jerry Fleming, Orville Zodrow and his wife, Marlene, Larry Hill and his wife, Nancy, and Jerry Hill and his wife, Karla. She has many great-nieces and nephews and several great-greats.
At her request there will be no service except a small family gathering. Arrangements are under the direction of Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
