CVRA Rodeo set June 17-18
KAMIAH — The 54th Annual Clearwater Valley Roundup Association rodeo is set to go June 17-18, with the full slate of main events to go at 7 p.m. that Saturday and a 1 p.m. performance that Sunday. Mutton Bustin’ and junior steer riding will go a half an hour beforehand each day.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth ages 7-12, and kids six and younger enter free.
Local events include team roping, breakaway roping, junior barrel racing, junior steer riding, mutton busting and a kids boot race. To enter, contact Heather Paradis 6-9 p.m. June 8-15, at 208-741-2510.
Fund-raiser fun run planned for June 17
COTTONWOOD — The first annual XC Pirate 5K run will go off at 10 a.m. June 17 at the Prairie elementary school. Pre-entries close June 7. Early entry fee is $10 for the run only or $25 including a T-shirt. Late entries will be taken up to race time with a $5 late fee.

GHS cheer clinic scheduled June 8
GRANGEVILLE — An organizational meeting for Grangeville High School Coed Cheer is set for Wednesday, June 7. 6:30 p.m., at the GHS library. A parent/guardian must be in attendance and consent forms for the next day’s clinic/evaluation will be available.
GHS Coed Cheer will be holding an instructional clinic and evaluations on Thursday, June 8, from noon to 4 p.m., at the school for the upcoming 2017 Season. All incoming freshmen through senior boys and girls interested in participating this coming season need to be in attendance.
Those participating must have a signed consent form.
Wear appropriate gym clothes and clean gym shoes.

Bulldog Tennis Camp set June 13-15
The annual Bulldogs Tennis Camp will be 1-3 p.m. each afternoon June 13-15 at the GHS courts. Contact tennis coach Kerry McCulley, firstname.lastname@example.org, for more information.
Camas Prairie Cup scheduled
GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville High student Ryan Ruklic is organizing four-on-four soccer tournaments this July 1 for his senior project. Registration deadline is June 16. Fee is $50 per team.
Teams of up to six will play in five age divisions, with opportunities for kids ages K-8. Play will be four players per side, and action will start at 8 a.m.
Rules, location and entry information is online at grangevillehighschool.org. Proceeds will go to the GHS soccer team.
