Rep. Shepherd named Ag All Star Legislator

District 7B Representative Paul Shepherd of Riggins was one of 90 legislators honored recently by Food Producers of Idaho, Inc., (FPI) as an Ag All Star Legislator.

FPI annually honors legislators for their voting record on issues supported or opposed by the organization.

Idaho County Republicans seek donations for Feb. 25 Lincoln Day event

GRANGEVILLE – The Idaho County Republican Central Committee is preparing for its annual Lincoln Day Dinner and fund-raiser. The group is seeking donations, which in the past have included specialty wine and food, artwork, weekend getaways, tools and guns. They also appreciate any monetary donations; however, donors are reminded these are not tax-deductible.

The event is planned for Feb. 25 at the Greencreek Community Center.

Translator volunteers sought by ICSO

GRANGEVILLE – The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office is seeking volunteer interpreters-translators. Those speaking Spanish are preferred, and other language offerings, as well as sign language, interpreters are welcome. ICSO will be developing a list to draw from when translator needs arise.

Volunteers will need to sign a non-disclosure confidentiality agreement.
