Wagenmann to speak at Encouragers April 7
GRANGEVILLE — Offense and Forgiveness is the topic of Rita Wagenmann’s message set for Thursday, April 7, at the Encouragers 11:30 a.m. luncheon at Oscar’s Restaurant in Grangeville. A salad bar, soup and baked potato will be offered for the no-host lunch.
Wagenmann comes from a large Catholic family and was educated in Catholic schools. She is married to Dwight, who works at Idaho Forest Group, and has two adult sons and two granddaughters. She is a professional chef and crafter and is active in her church as Bible teacher and volunteer with children and the elderly. Her hobbies are gardening, decorating and basket making.
Encouragers meets on the first Thursday of each month at 101 E. Main. All are welcome.
Faith Lutheran sets church activities
KAMIAH — Faith Lutheran Church in Kamiah has changed its Sunday worship service time to 9 a.m. for the summer. There’s always social time and refreshments after Sunday worship. The Rev. Gail Hart is the new pastor.
Men’s Bible group meets every Thursday at 7 a.m. at the bakery, and the women’s Bible study is on Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the church.
Faith Lutheran church is located at 6th and Idaho streets in Kamiah. Phone for Pastor Hart is 790-4515.
Nazarene church events in place for month
GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville Church of the Nazarene has several activities set.
A needlework fellowship group for women is set for its first meeting Wednesday, April 13, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Contact Myrna DeHaas for details.
A ladies Bible study takes place Tuesday evenings 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church, while men’s Bible study meets at Crema Café at 4 p.m. on Thursdays.
Sunday worship services are 9 a.m. with Sunday school for all ages following. Wednesday prayer meeting and choir are each at 7 p.m.
The church is located at 515 West North 2nd Street and also houses the Cornerstone Learning Center for preschool and kindergarten students..
