Summit Academy will present the Stations of the Cross on March 14. It will be a slide show presentation of the first-fourth graders acting out the Stations. Join us at St. Mary’s Church, 6 p.m. The parents and children have worked hard to get this all set up. I have seen the pictures and it is very well done. Don’t miss it, it’s impressive!
March is Red Cross Month: To honor the lifesaving work of the organization show your support and donate blood. The Cottonwood Blood Drive is March 18 at the Community Hall. Call Brenda Kaschmitter or Cheri Holthaus to schedule an appointment, 962-3251. The Red Cross manages nearly half the nation’s blood supply. In the U.S. every two seconds someone needs blood. Any healthy person age 17 or older, weighing at least 110 pounds may donate. At age 16 you may donate with parent signature/consent.
