Having A Blast

In partnership with Flying B Ranch in Kamiah, IDFG conservation officers Roy Kinner and George Fischer held the first annual “Recruitment and Retention” hunt last Sunday, March 2. “We took along some of our previous hunter education graduates and parents, as well as some parents with kids on Idaho Youth Hunting Passports that have not completed hunter education yet,” Fischer said. “We gave the students a safety class refresher. We then shot sporting clays and did a short hunt introduction class to parents and kids. We bagged a limit of memories and even a few birds. A big ‘attaboy’ to Flying B Ranch for letting us spend the day with full use of their property and special thanks to The National Wild Turkey Federation and The Lions Club for ammo and several guns.”
