•Summit Academy will host its annual nativity play Friday, Dec. 13, 7 p.m., in the Summit Academy gym, Cottonwood.
•Breakfast with Santa will be at the Grangeville Church of the Nazarene Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-noon. Come out and have breakfast, take pictures with Santa, and hear the true Christmas story. This is open to the public and free for any who wish to attend.
Idaho County Orchestra will be performing in the sanctuary at the Grangeville Church of the Nazarene Saturday, Dec. 14, 7 to 8 p.m. The cost is free; however, donations will be accepted as this is a benefit to help local area students in the form of two scholarships that are awarded each spring at Grangeville and Clearwater Valle High schools. This is a 12-piece orchestral ensemble directed by Larry Paul. They will be playing a selection of holiday favorites both sacred and secular.
•The annual Kids Sale is set for the Eagles Hall on C Street Saturday, Dec. 14, 9 a.m. Kids can shop for reasonably priced gifts for their families. Call 983-0343 or 983-2183.
•The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Grangeville, 280 U.S. Highway 95 North, will host its annual Christmas Brunch and Music Program Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. All are welcome.
•Trinity Lutheran Church, 210 N. Mill Street, will host its children’s Christmas program Sunday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m.
•Grangeville Elementary Middle School will host its kindergarten through grade three concert Monday, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m., in the gym. The fourth and fifth grades concert will be held Jan. 27, 6:30 p.m., in the multipurpose room.
•Grangeville High and Grangeville Elementary Middle schools grades 6-12 will hold their Christmas concert, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 6:30 p.m. in the GHS gym.
•Children ages 3-12 are invited to the Grangeville Christian Reformed Church Saturday, Dec. 21, 9 a.m. to noon, for hot chocolate, cookies and a make-and-take holiday craft. The church is located at 4th and Junction streets. Call 983-0955.
•The Harpster Christmas Program, an old fashioned singalong and live music get-together, is set for on Sunday, Dec. 15, 3 p.m., at the Harpster Community Building. Everyone in the Harpster area is invited to attend. Each person is asked to bring 1/2 dozen cookies for sharing after the program. Santa will arrive toward the end of the program to give all children a bag of candy.
•The Life Center at 4432 US Highway 12, Kamiah, will host the children’s Christmas musical “King of The Jungle” Dec. 13 and 14, 7 p.m., and Dec. 15 at 10 a.m.
•Valley View Church of the Nazarene will present “A Night to Remember,” a Christmas cantata for children Sunday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m., 102 N. Front Road at milepost 69.5 Highway 12.
•Valley Bible Church will host a Birthday Party for Jesus at Pastor Harris’ Home, 1134 Big Cedar Rd. Kooskia, Dec. 14, 2 p.m. Call 926-0182.
•Riggins Assembly of God Church will host the Christmas musical “Candy Cane Lane” Sunday, Dec. 15, 6 p.m. Local youth will perform.
